now i have gotten miffed with all the people who feel the need to repeat ther sound my alarm makes when i arm it i mean have you never heard a car go beep beep its relly starting to chew my string. am i the only one who gets this?

I am admittedly a bit envious of your alarm doing that. Somehow find it really cool. All I can hear is the groaning of the central locking.

What really irritates me are the few people who have shouted a comical 'Oohh' when I unlock my car with my remote
I mean come on, what else am I supposed to use it for!!
I didn't pay for remote locking for the satisfaction of nieve people like that!! I paid from remote locking because I'm a lazy git!!
Unfortunately (I think its noise pollution laws or something) VW cars now don't have that nice little 'beep' when the car is unlocked

Can't you add the 'beep' adain with the Vag Com thing? I thought that was one of the options?

my clifford alarm makes a really loud BEEEP BEEEEP wen i turn it on. its bloody annoying but makes sure ppl around know its alarmed good & proper.
does my head in wen ppl go "ooohhh" wen u use the remote locking. I just think "f**k-off & get back in ur nova".

Mine's a nice quite even melodic beeeep beeeep for off and beeeeep for on like a mouse skeakin or something - fitted by Turners

Yeah, it can be done quite easily and quickly I believe. I think the 'clunk' of the locking sounds a bit better though

Well i got one of those posh Clifford thingies that says 'armed' and 'disarmed' when you activate/de-activate it.
Wish i hadn't bothered no cause i just get little pikeys coming up to it to set it off 'please step away from the car'

Read this shocked me...people really do that??!!?? How sad are they---its just an alarm, if someone went ooooh at em unlocking or arming my alarm I'd just point and laugh at them ...we all have alarms cos people may want to nick our cars, Nova drivers(etc, etc) are obvioulsy jealos as no-one would want to bother nicking their cars!

People are always surprised that my car has central locking at all - the number of times I'll unlock the car for them and they'll stand around outside waiting for me to unlock the car for them is amazing!
I've only got one mate who imitates the alarm arming - that EEP EEP noise that Toad alarms make. Very silly...
