280mm brakes?

I have a 1.6 mk4 polo, think the brakes at the mo are 239x18mm and am in need of bigger brakes. How much do ya think a complete 280mm brake setup would cost from a seat cupra? Also apart from needing 16v hubs are there any other parts i would need to do this?

another person looking into brake conversions
I've just been messing with the idea at the minute. But will have to do something soon as the brakes will need replacing soon.
I was looking at a 280 or 290mm alloy bell and rotor running possibly Evo 5/406/Fiat coupe front Brembo 4 pots. Mounted using a custom bracket. The alloy bells/rotors we use on other appilcations anyway so I could *borrow* them
, the calipers arn't that hard to come buy. Esp the Evo ones as alot of our customers upgrade. Just got to talk to one of our suppliers about fabircating a bracket to space the caliper out.
Plus the hose's, but thats not too much trouble and possibly a larger master cylinder.
But hopefully the outcome will be much much much better brakeing and less unspung weight on the nubs.

Cheap 280mm Big brake kit:
You will need Passat 280mm Discs and pads up to 1998 as the brakes are still the usual 4 stud discs. (or uprate the oe discs and pads.)
Caliper and caliper carrier from Passat.
And the 22mm Mastercylinder.
This set up is the same as the G60 Golf setup and because its from a Passat parts should be cheap from a scrappy.These will bolt ondirectly as a replacement for the weedy 239mm Polo items. You will need at least 15" wheels to fit the brakes behind.
