ive a 98 1.6 spi and the k&n i got says for 94-95!

it doesnt seem to fit!

what to do what to do!!!

It seems unlikely you have a 1998 SPI, as far as I know they're always MPI after 1997. In any case, it doesn't really matter; could you be more exact as to what the fitting problem is exactly? I had a K&N on my 1.6 but got rid of it - didn't fit snug enough for my peace of mind.
