just wondering if theres anyone around the leicester area up for meetin up somewhere checkin out everyones cars, any sort of polo

There's a VW Show on in the Exhibition Center there (indoors) and a lot of us are going.

Hmm. Whereabouts is donnington? Leicester's doable from here (if a bit of a trek) and I feel the need to go to some kind of VW event

It's a distinct possibility. Should be paid on thursday, I'll wait to see how much I get and if I can actually afford to get there and back.

I will be coming to this, I'll also be bringing a friend along with me, who drives a mk2 golf 1.8 gl and who I may well be taking on a golf gti project car with in the near future

I'll probably be in the polo, if not it'll be a black '91 golf GL that squeaks like hell every time it turns a corner (tyres too wide
) and that sounds like it's trying to chew up a small tree when you use the central locking

I live in Leicester! There are a few G40s which I know of too in the area. I'll be there on Sun, We should get a meet going for the leicester peeps!
Is there gonna be any kind of stand for the Polos?

Yes uk-polos.net have a stand.
And i believe madmatt is trying to get a few polo's together in the vw only carpark outside.

We're limited to only 4 cars on the stand as it's an indoor event and these places have been filled.
Try to park with the rest of the crew though!
