In this country it mainly attracts the Chav's i'm afraid

Not a mod i would do on a European car. Especially German.

Even Japanese cars look s**t when they've got STICKERS all over them.

This topic has reminded me of a blue Mondeo that drives around my area with Dragons down the side and "go faster stripes".

well its good for a road racer look IMO

like a crazy bodykit...... ive seen a lupo GTI with graphics and it looks quite newat

I think each man to their own, I think the car modding world is there for everyone to express their own ideas/designs/inspirations, if they want to go around advertising the fact that they have little taste in their 'modded' Mondeos with go faster stripes then let them...at least it gives us all a laugh! ha ha ha!

i think at the end of the day its all personal taste. its all fasion too. its like when you walk down the strret and you see someone wearing really weaid stuff your like, hmmmmmm nice mate. each to their own!

The worst has to be though, when people slap brands on their car like a K&N sticker or something

I totally agree. It makes me laugh when people put brand stickers on their car, like HKS, when HKS don't even make owt that fits or works with there car.

Carmadaaron: if you want car graphics, have them. You may do such a good job you might change some of our opinions.

The other day i say a car which had no mods what so ever but stickers all over saying ripspeed, hks, jamex and all kinds i was like mate head for the scrap heap.

i was actually finking bout graphics as in lighting stripes/dragons etc. rather than HKS and K and N stuff..... (ie brands)

german car should be smooth blend in bodypannels flush designs slammed on 13inch wheels (EURO LOOK)
jap grapphixs and shopping lists up doors should be left to japanese cars and chavs

but each to there own

A really big smiley face on the bonnet

a 53 on each door

and a "slow vehicle" warning sign on the boot along with those red reflective diagonal police stripes that make you crap yourself when haring up behind a motorway maintenance van at 90mph
