rear shocks

jus been down to the garage, on my rear shocks, one side is fine but the drivers side tyre is rubbing on the bottom spring cup and the spring, is there some flats on the cup or something to stop this?

i've got the same problem! i'm running 3mm spacers on the back and now and then it still rubs! not alot of room there is there!
wierd how its only on one side. are ur wheels 7" or 6.5" wide?

i think 6.5, im already running 5 mm spacers gunna try 10mm see if that works!

I would never even consider wheel spacers after seeing what happened to a corrado with a set on

i gotta put them on, to stop scrubbing. any ideas where i can get some longer wheels nuts?

demon tweeks, but if the wheels/tyres are catching against the shocker then they are either the wrong offset or too big.

is that the one Pitstop had where the wheel fell off as they were driving along? & then the owner said "oh yeah, that happens every now & then".

Yep, thats the one. The wheel fell off at a low speed, lucky it didnt come off at high speed as it could have caused a lot worse
All the other wheel bolts had worked loose and the ones that had come off had totalled, stretching and bending them into a banana shape.

Don't think they were too happy with the owner for neglecting to mention it occuring previously. Scary bit is, Liam had taken yoof out for a typical Egor style drive the same night it happened. Thank f**k it happened at low speed, and had held out til then...

saying about the wrong offset, my car is close to the rear struts on the back and it rubs on the outer arches on the front! something funny going on there me thinks
