mk4 sideskirts and mk 5 sideskirts!

does anyone know if the standard sills on the mk4 and mk5 are the same. do the sideskirts on the mk4 fit mk5 and vice versa.

They're not identical. AFAIK the Mk5 ones are more squared off, while the Mk4 ones are more rounded.

but do your econ the mk4 sideskirts for sale around will fit the mk5 its just theres little in the mk5 sideskirt deparment as for the mk4 its all amazing!

If the part numbers are different, I'd expect they won't fit.
Better stick to stuff that fits straight on I reckon. Besides, the Mk5 looks pretty good as it is.

The cars are basically the same though, just a facelift.
The sills should be very similiar if not identical.

we can all hope aye jon, i really want some for mine, but lack of choice has left me feeling cold about the idea, dont want them too deep as i wont be able to go over speedbumps anymore

Is there much of a difference between the standard sideskirts, say on jon's or ben's polos, and the GTi parts, like on mine? I always thought they looked pretty similarish myself

gti, are much deeper, i've also seen a mk5 1.4 with deep sideskirts (they looked factory fitted) my sides are awful, the paint on the edge looks bubbled and awful thats why i want a clean smooth look, but obviously not too low
