Wai Mak .....
OK- you are really setting the standards here with your Polo. Your car really does look superb.
I'd like to copy a couple of ideas (if you dont mind !) :
- The chrome door handles
- The silver strip along the bottom of the hatch lid
Where did you get these from; are they a perfect fit without cutting; and how much ?
Many thanks ....

Beautiful.
I would love to have that. I'm an Xbox fan too. Shame it's jus downstairs not in my Polo.
What headlights have you got there? Looks blue-ish.

Thanx Aaron
The xbox is modified with a 250 GB hard disk to store all my games and divx and mp3s and whatever junk media i got. Ive got a DVD remote and an extension for the infra-red reciever. I will post pics up soon.
The xbox + accessories and screen cost around 500-600pounds?
Debadged the 16V because i wanted to put it on the front. But then I decided to get a chrome grill and with the 16v badge on the front with chrome grill doesnt look right. So all in all i just left the back bit debadged and put the chrome strip on it.

The Chrome strip was bought from ebay, some german shop... cant remember the seller. I had to trim the strip myself and sand it down. And the Chrome handles were bought from Hong Kong. Im planning to put some chrome alloys soon when I save some more dosh!
Many thanks!

The head lights were the Xenons i've been talking to you earlier about. Its 8000kelvin colour. Normal Halogens are around 3000k which look more like yellow. 6000k is white, 7000k is violet. 8000k is blue.
Many thanks!

Hi jrw ....
Yep, I'm addicted to the VAG forums i'm afraid ....
Started when I had my Toledo (seatcupra.net)
Then went to uk-mk1V when I got the VW Polo
Then found uk-polos
Also frequent the briskoda forums
... and also tdiclub.com which is great for TDi geeks (like me)
Its interesting to see the different perspectives on each of these fourms (each 'brand' of VAG owners tend to be different ..... in their approach to cars and life in general ...)
Anyway ... nice to meet you over here ....

The 8000K HID bluelights - Im not 100% sure, they are extremely rare. Only seen 4 other cars with them....
1. Mercedes SL55 AMG on the A2
2. Porsche Boxter in Brent Cross
3. Peugeot 406 Coupe on A406 near Barking(London)
4. VW Golf MK4 GTI on A406 - Had a little tug with this one....
Ive not been pulled over by police with them. They always stare at my car - I dunno if they are intending to stop me to have a word or to admire it?? lol
HID's are not too expensive now... you can pick them up around £250. Its the installation which may be a bit tricky, because you are playing around with 25000 Volts to power the bulbs.

Yeah - gives you the bling bling with a gangster look!
Im gonna get some Chrome covers for the Mirrors. Will make my polo look a bit like the Audi S3.

How the heck can you get that much power? Heat? Dangerous?! Nice nice.

No wonder they are rare.. £250.00
I was expecting something like £25.00!
