amp for my sub

ive got a 1000w jbl sub and my headunit is jvc (45wx4) wot power amp do i need to power my sub? 
sylonien's Phoenix Gold amp produces approx. 320Watts for his 12" JBL subwoofer with a 250W RMS and peak claimed 1000Watts .
