Now that you mention it... Maybe from the front, if I squint enough...
In all seriousness I *can* see the merits of this vehicle. Cheap motoring for a developing nation. Fair enough.
(Just can't figure out where the "engine" is - under the seat?)

no there's a hole in the floor (double move ya leg cam)

at least you won't get speeding fines (37mph tops)

Nope.. that just lulls you into a false sense of security, you floor it all the way and get done by a camera in a 30 limit

"keeping safety in mind" they have fitted seat belts and seat padding... but not any doors, or rounded off the jutting metal angled edges!
(they've also put a speedo on that reads to at least 100, maybe 120kmh - that's just excessive and probably depressing!)
bizzare, why not just import a load of golf carts and de-restrict them
only in pakistan could something like that be road legal (how long til some US rapper gets one and bling blings it?)...
close investigation suggests it's a pair of honda c90s (~85cc each) welded together with some fancy subframing, better seats, and a gearbox modified for overdrive 4th and pushbutton reverse

-- wanna bet how much of that 60km/h you'll see dragging up a 1-in-12 incline with the usual subcontinental sensibility so far as passenger compliment is concerned?

(ie "seats 4 people" doesnt include various babies and children under 12 being carried in laps, folk standing up on or hanging off of it. or their luggage.) ---- i notice that they didnt bother to include any HP or torque figures, just that questionable top speed!
plus the frame alone weighs 350kg, thats a fair bit for a 170cc engine to pull about already never mind passengers etc - fully laden it'll be probably up to kerb weight of a mk2 with an average driver....
the concept however does smack a bit of the original 2CV, so pretty good stuff may come from it. and i bet it's a total hoot to drive!
plus it's got a great turning circle (less than half a polo's)
how much is 126,500 rupees in quid?
cheers for the link... most interesting

If they hadn't asked us to leave their country maybe they would have fiesta's nova's and saxo's now
It would have been full of Chavistani's

only if they fit a gixxer lump to it, and invest in some wheels that are actually wider than my own tyres when 4 of the pakistani ones are put side by side. that'd be fun.
