Thought I'd start this one off....... :lol:

I'll keep to the Polo tho :wink:

Change the Lambda Sensor asap - needs one - bought one - just need to fit

Finish the dash centre section swap and refit the new tunes

Bit of paintwork required - nothing major - just a couple of rust spots need attending to and the damage on the passenger door where the low life broke in to thieve my stereo.

Flush fit my MKV rear lights :oops:

Desparately needs a Front Anti Roll Bar Kit

I'd like to find a GTi Leather Interior for it (3 Door one :roll: )

AEX Ecu still required so I can work on the maps

Head from spare engine is now off so a skim and a bit of porting is a distinct posibility

And for me I'd like to get to a "Polo Show" - A weekend camping at Billing with a a few beers in the evening and a BBQ would be right up my street :lol:

lower it more (seen a gmax suspension kit - 70mil for £200), 13x7 black 12 hole motorsport weller steels et18, major arch rolling to get the wheels on, straight through pipe(£25 for the pipe, fitting and new rubbers from my local exhaust place who built my current powerflow system which has taken a beating but is still there!), decat and new back box, g40 or some other sort of upgraded brakes, corrado master cylinder (i think....), respray, whole new ice system, get the rusty wing sorted and the little rust under the window at the frton o nthe passenger side, and the rust on the tailgate, more power! attained maybe through a hiflow heads stage 3 head if i can stretch! new cam, and maybe just maybe thats it........... might strip it out and lighten it! :)

did i forget to mention i want to do all that before worthersee at the begigngin of may?! lol! no chance!

The mk2;

Webber carb and spare inlet manifold from the 1.4 (if its bigger)

Fit the ranger alloys that came off my GT (dealer optional extra for the ranger as well as the GT hatch) just to make the spec that little bit higher :D - They need the right tyres though

Sort the rust out on the rear arches before it gets any worse. Something to keep me busy over the summer methinks.

the mk3;

Get deecent exhaust put on (next week hopefully)

Get G40 brakes put on (have had the kit for 12 months but never fitted)

Get it lowered

Get more than 100bhp on the rollers

Get it Cleaned - it bloody needs one!

Where to start?
  • - Must get the car lowered some
    - B&M shortshift kit
    - Custom 'zorst would be nice
    - Refurbish the BBS alloys
    - New rear tyres
    - Tints by "tinter"
    - Sunglasses holder to replace driver's side grab handle
    - I still have those black side repeaters sat here on my desk...
    - ... And finally, as always I'm toying with the idea of swapping out my rear lights...
My plans will probably be scuppered by my Mum's insistence that I save some money instead of "wasting it", so the only mods that are likely to be completed by this time 2006 will be the tyres the tints and the B&M... watch this space!

Cheers

Hmm.. long list.

The boring bits:
* Fix dashboard clocks, get rid of blinding main beam LED, fit circuitry with a brake warning light instead of the golf mk1 stuff without one
* Get weber carb properly sorted so it gives me over 29mpg..
* Replace front shocks.. might consider lowering at the same time, probably not though for insurance reasons :(
* New tyres
* New exhaust centre box to get rid of irritating rattle
* New alternator
* Odd bits of paintwork
* Replace screwdrivered door lock :evil:
* MoT :shock:

The interesting bits:
* Mk1 GTi alloys
* Mk3 dashboard, possibly bumpers
* GT/Ranger/Coupe S seats to replace the bodged up golf gti ones
* Induction kit, perhaps..
* Fit mk2 golf GTi vented brakes at last - the fade on the standard ones is scaring me now.
* Odd little interior bits, lighting etc.
* CD changer courtesy of GaryUK :)

Just have to see how much money I've got to do that lot.. it's all been on the waiting list for quite a while, just need to get around to doing it all.

mmmmmmmmmm

- Possibly lowered abit.
- Votex kit.

If I get at least one of those things done this year I will be well pleased.

GaryUK - if you're wanting tints done, and I'm wanting tints done, and dubpolo and his Dad are wanting tints done - maybe we should organise something :idea:

Where to start...

*Lower
*Cat back system
*Fit GT Number plate trim foil
*Fit G40 brakes and braided hoses
*Sub and amp setup after...
*False boot floor
*GT cam
*Fit air fuel ratio meter
*Bonnet lifters
*Fit polished Mark4 rocker cover, exhaust heat shield and dizzy cap cover (see Young_Un for details)
*GT arch trims and sills
*Light grey GT interior
*Bit more bling on the insider (doorpins, window winders, etc)
*Foglights
*Paint and fit Mark3 Golf splitter
*Paint rear grab handle
*Paint mirrors
*Get some badges
*Alarm and immob
*Bee sting arieal
*Tinter tints

And then I might be rather happy. Chances are I will get 25% of that list done in reality.

Karl.
