i was just wondering how you have all mounted your amps in the boot. At the moment i havent got a sub so i cant mount it on there and i dont really want to screw it to the back of the seat so any suggestions ?

mines just sitting on the floor of the boot at the moment, with a cushioning of bubble-wrap, im not too bothered what it looks like in boot, just what it sounds like

thats my rather unconventional set-up

hmm well i aint to keen on the idea of having it loose on the floor with my driving it will be busted quite quick. I would mount it on the sub but i have lack of a sub at the moment the amp is to power my front components and my 6x9's.

what i have done is made a panel for the side of the boot out of mdf, it takes a bit of trial and error but it helps if you make template from cardboard or what ever, it looks tidy and doesn't really take up any space.
all i need now is my amp to get here, then i'm gonna gonna cover it in alacantra.

If you have the cash, try Auto Acoustics, who make a range of stealth boxes and shelves for various vehicles, including the Polo 6n nad 6n2. Link:

Sorted
If you have a CD changer in the nearside position you may want to move to though

I have the OEM changer just there so I'd need one for the other side

yup no boot space at all, it will all be coming out when i start going fishing again!
the neon is plugged into the cigarette lighter and fed through under the seats
