hello
What im after is an insurance company which doesnt mind mods. From the pics on the forum some of you have done consideral amounts im currently with norwich union and pay about £1200 fully comp with my own policy. But i have the feeling when renewel date comes boom up it goes plus they wont let me have more than 3 mods. im 19 and will hopefully have 1 years no claims. so any suggestions?

Get in touch with Adrian Flux, they dropped my insurance from £1200 with privilege to £590.00, they also quoted me £1400.00 fully comp with a 1.8 20V Turbo transplant and all my other mods, when the nearest quote I recieved was £3400.00 fully comp.

^^^ Can't agree more, they halved my premium - Adrian flux broked me to a company called "highways" who don't mind mods

Buy a copie of Max Power and ring the insurance companies in the back, play one insurance company off another. If you get a quote thats about the same fib a bit and say you've found it cheaper somewhere else and let them fight between themselves for your hard earned cash!
Make the robbing ba**ards do some work.
It may also help if you increase your excess, but you will pay out more if you do have a crash.
Get the car fitted with a good alarm and immobiliser, Thatcham preferably, and try and park the car off the road at night, even try and rent a garage.
Get Married that will reduce your payment.
Or get a sex change this will drop your insurance probably by half.

*this may also affect your driving style and ability to parallel park to within 14" of the kerb...
Anyway... has anyone verified the 15% discount with Adrian Flux for mentioning UK-P.net? Just a thought. I'm with Direct Line at hte moment but haven't made any mods yet - when I do, I will expect to change companies though, don't think they'll be too understanding. I'll find out in September!

Not than im an expert, but im sure the cost of the sex change will be more than the cost of your insurance. Would be many years before it paid for itself
