engine troubles after doing a quick test

right, i'm trying to canvas as much coverage as possible, i made a post in techical - Clicky for the details...
dont have much time to work on the car at the mo and the shops'll be closing in about 2 hours or thereabouts. please, can i be an arse and ask people who know their gaskets from their piston rings & bores to take a butchers?
know its unusual and cheeky but a little bit desperate, not to mention depressed
and yeah, i am selling it, but i want to sell it in decent nick. sorting the pistons out however, or even one of them, is a little beyond my means.
