Car went in to vw garage today. They put a diagnostic on the car and its safe to say there are now no faults. However, they did mention that they couldn't see an issue with the loss of power. Right, Just got the box from the car as Sinclair VW said they want me to leave the box and part with the RAC report in the car for Tues. The part number he put was:- 036 905 715 F (its got a =A written by the side of it) and not 06A905115D like 9N3Turbo posted. Its also in a Volkswagen Group box. Qu...

His computer def. didn't spend that amount of time when it was plugged in. Maybe it could be a combination of the wrong coil with the software?

I'll post up the actual part that he's given tommor. It will be interesting to see what they diagnose at the vw garage on tues!?

Thanks. That kind of makes sense. The RAC guy only used the computer to diagnose and must of cleared the fault but as I said, as the car sounded ok, he unplugged the computer and went on his way. I only really noticed the difference when I was going up a hill and it was like driving my old Fiesta Mk...
