W8 Domelight

Post by ModifiedMadness »

I've seen it mentioned, and seen DIY Guides but what actually is the W8 Domelight mod?

And does anyone have any pics?

I think the only advantage of having it is that it has 2 red LEDs that shine on the gear knob - could be wrong!?!

Getting quite handy with the camera, finally worked out how to take close ups without them coming out blurry. 8)

macro mode :)

nice pics m8, see you have the nokia carkit too - ive got the same one, but put mike on the A pillar on drivers side, bit like an alarm sensor :)

any chance of a pic of them working at night? do all the functions work (the buttons for reading light etc..) ? and is the wiring a plug in job or need to modify?

cheers

Yeah will try and get a pic of it at nite all lit up. All the functions work, and the red led's shine down onto the gear lever and handbrake.

It was a long time ago that i fitted it, so it's hard to remember how it's fitted, i know you buy a special plug with it and you need to run a wire up to it from the headlight switch(it's what i used anyway) for the feed to power the led's when you switch your lights on.

BTW this is where i put my controller for the Nokia kit.
