Looking good there Tigz, is the outside staying silver or is that going purple too?

so much easier to colour code the rocker with it still on the engine!!

I didn't realise how much of a pain in the arse it was to remove until i tried it on a mates engine! lol...

How did you manage to 'key' the rocker properly with all those edges, nooks and crannys it has...i think i'll do the same as you! just a different colour of course

lookin good though tigz...can't wait to see this next season! 8)

Went back to Scotland on Friday and got a bit more done.

Drive shafts fitted.
Rear panel seams bent over, and wheels fitted.
Linkage stripped, and modified to fit closer to inlet manifold.
Injector loom stripped from main loom and secured neatly.
Fuel rail fabricated.

Doesn't sound much, and car looks pretty much the same as when i arrived, but its been a lot of work.
Perhaps a total of a 30 minute break, out of 13 hours work!
There's still so much left to do.
I need a week there really.

Ignore the ride height, the car is still sat on trolleys.

Pic of my (1) red HT lead, its brand new, bloody VW.

As I got stranded Friday night I stopped there, and started on the car again for a few hours Saturday morning.
Decided to get all the audio cable laid, and start putting the interior in.
The carpet and rear seats are now in, just didn't take any pics.

lol it needs to be black.
Its annoying really, as every Lupo GTI owner who buys some leads expects red and gets black, I ordered a lead for a Polo GTI, using my own chassis number and I get a red one!

Just wiring and mapping left!
