i bought it from ebay its for a lupo 1.4 16v but fitted with a tiny bit of trimming for the vvc actuator, ive never seen one before?

Its rather clean :)

My only criticism is it doesnt sport a nice VW badge, and you cant see the red leads and rocker cover, which i think sets the engine off quite nicely

I'm the biggest hater of carbon fibre, but that looks ok. Would be better if you could see the HT leads though.

I actually think that's quite nice :oops: would be interested in one myself. Was going to modify my original engine cover to get the same effect (chop of the bit that surrounds the old airbox) but have been told by several VW-owning friends that if I butcher my engine cover, they might butcher me! :shock:

it was a private sale, he only had the one, and ive never seen one before, apparently there £150 new but not sure where from, i paid £40 posted and its like new, i was toying with the idea of tracing out the centre cut out like on the original cover to see underneath but cant bring myself to cut it! :twisted:

Maybe stick an adhesive VW wheel centre on it?

Looks good, I reckon an original design one in carbon fibre would look amazing. Especially in a bay like Tim's :)
