is this possible?

Post by knappster »

Hi peeps
Is it possible to have 4 stud alloys drilled to fit a 5 stud car? Without the wheel looking like swiss cheese?
They came off my old mk3 golf but they need to go onto my mates mk4 golf as they are too big for my polo :-(
Cheers :-)

i think it all depends on the wheel mate

as i know you can drill some 5 stud out to 4 stud so i shouldnt see why it dont work the other way

what wheels are they?

Anything is possible mate, but to be blunt.. it won't be worth the hassle by the time you find a competent engineer with the right machine and skill to do it - it'll be cheaper and safer to buy new wheels for it.
