little/big problem

Post by l0rne »

so today ive fit my coilovers ^_^

im rather chuffed with them to be honest!

one slight problem, what i had to do what get a 9mm spacer to put on the drivers front because the actual coilover was digging into my tyre.

i know i need tracking and balancin but will this resolve the problem so i can take the spacer off?

or is it something other than that e.g. camber? anything?

if anyone can help it would be great! :)

Quick fix for this is pull the hub forward from the car and tighten the bolts back up

once its done, yet it should, but do what I said above in the meantime, as your camber must be SERIOUSLY out to rub against the suspension

when you say forward do you mean forward to the front of the car or pulling it out from the side??

im going to try this tomorow but tonight whilst i was driving all of a sudden my sheel is scrapin on the bodywork, it may have pushed itself out so im going to see if getting rid of the wheel spacer helps and stops digging into the wheel!!
