So the other day I noticed that my headlight on the drivers side had blotches in it. Not condensation but what looks like mould blotches. Also where the side light bulb goes there were loads of plastic shavings of some sort
The warrenty manager claims that it's not covered even although I ain't touched the dam light since I owned the car as he said its scorch marks from an incorrectly fitted bulb
What's you guys think ?
Plastic shavings
Misty blotches
VW refused a warrenty claim for my headlight

I think you should get on to VW UK.

I did. Waiting on them getting back to me

The mould is nothing to do with an incorrect fitted bulb. If anything it is moisture that has got into the headlight then dried out, Are your rubber covers fitted correctly at the back of the light? I would try a differant dealer who maybe more forth coming.

That is strange .... Anyone else suffered it?
I think you are right to escalate... Not good.
