17in Tyre Pressure

Hi everyone,

I have some 17in Mallory wheels on order, and they will be running 215/40 tyres.

Please treat me like a dummy. As these are an upgrade to the original 15in wheels, what tyre pressures would you recommend, do I follow what is on the door sill?

These were VW’s recommended tyre pressures for the 215/40 R17 tyres that I had on the 17” wheels on my 6c GTI - picture in the second post at the link below;

Well then information from fuel cap is a good start.
2.5-2.9 bar find what suits your driving style and tire the best.
