I keep trying to persuading my girlfriend to get one, but she's having none of it.
I looked into one before getting my Polo GTi.
You should really try looking at

Inside space is identcal to the polo, infact if i remember correctly the rear leg room is more. The boot's are tiny though, especially having the battery in them. They all have xenons as well mate. Nice motor, but interior trim isnt as nice as the polo (small door cards with body coloured metal showing). They also dont have climate control and a/c was an optional extra.

I love them, the main difference for me is that they are so different from the next model down (sport) and have so many changes, arches, front and rear spoilers, xenons, washers, interior, aluminium wings, bonnet different glass, battery in boot.. looks like they put a lot more effort into it than the polo.
As mentioned they hold their value well.. too well or I would have bought one for my track day project instead of the sport!
