Engine flush possible harmful - urban myth yes/no ?

Post by Docbooze »

I am gonna get an oil/filter change done at nat tyres (that's all I'll trust em with ). They offer a engine flush for around £8 but I've heard that with old engines this can do more harm than good.

Does anyone know if this is true??

Also do nat tyres / kwik fit drain the oil or just suck it out using some sort of industrial dyson.

cheers
