2001 (X) Reflex Silver Polo GTi (lots of pics)

Post by ModifiedMadness »

It breaks my heart to do this but due to financial commitments the GTi is up for sale, it wasn't an easy decision

It was bought from VW by myself in 2005 completely standard so everything below has been carried out whilst I've owned the car.

2001 on an X plate
Currently on 73,708 miles
3 Door Reflex Silver
Usual GTi spec - Xenon headlights fitted with 6000K bulbs, Climate Control, Electric Sunroof, Red Seatbelts with Black Trim.

Interior - Front and Rear Seats/Doorcards re-trimmed in Black and Red Leather and Alcantara, GTi mats (the front ones were new from VW a couple of years ago and have had rubber mats covering them since they were fitted to protect them) Chrome interior mirror - only one I've seen in the UK

Exterior - Smoothed front and rear bumpers, Black front badge, rear badge has the inside colour coded, OEM+ badge on bootlid, lowered between 60-70mm on KW Variant 1 Coilovers, LHD rear light on the drivers side to give the effect of 2 reverse lights.

Full audio install carried out by both SQ+ in Manchester (bootbuild) and Prestige Audio in Rickmansworth (Doorbuilds and A-Pillar builbs) they are 2 of the best companies in the business!

That's all I can think of at the mo - I will edit if I think of anything else.

The car has always had everything it's needed regardless of cost, has been serviced at VW every year and run on BP Ultimate throughout my ownership!

I have receipts worth £1000's

Looking for £5000 - No time wasters, I'm looking to sell to another enthusiast so I know the car will be looked after! PM me if interested.

Fraid so Tim, as silly as it sounds it was a bit :( taking them pics knowing what the reason for them was!! That's why I'm advertising on here and ED38 first, because I want the car to go to someone who will look after it and enjoy it as much as I have for nearly 3 years now.

Nope, wouldn't even consider it - what you see in the pics is what you get.

If you need the cash, I can lend you a tenna

In fact, lets start up the 'Give Tom some money so he doesn't have to sell his car fund'

To any potential seller, this is a bargain for the amound of time and money that this guy has put into this car.

Good luck with the sale

Tom, I'd definitely say the car's worth about 5k, as it stands. It'd be a real shame to see it go for less.

Nooo! Tom - don't do it! And if you really have to do it, put the price up, Its worth far more than that. I got 4k for mine at the worst selling time and yours is so much nicer!

Dare I ask what will be replacing it?

I'm shocked. But. If this is what you need to do, then good luck to you and fingers crossed for a quick smooth sale. The price is an absolute steal for everything you have done to the car
