polo gti / dodgy?

Post by solidsponge »

Not the greatest example, but not exactly the easiest car to find (esp 3door), but first one Ive seen with a normal grill on the front? The light also looks oddly fitting:

Does anyone think this has perhaps been in an accident? Never seen a standard grill on a gti unless it was standard on that year?

Maybe, wouldn't be able to tell until the bonnet is up.

Too many miles really for me and too cheap anyway but wanted to check if the grill wasnt standard.

Getting a bit annoyed with the amount of overpriced ones, for instance currently theres a black 3dr for £4500 with 63k on the clock, sure its got leather seats but thats rather a lot. especially when you can get a 2006 model for about £6k privately sometimes. Also theres a red 3dr with 65k for £3000 with similar owners etc 10 miles away. These are all in garages if course, I also get annoyed when they just ignore the gearbox problem it has. Anyway just thought Id vent those thoughts as I go insane trying to look for one.

Ye that dont look right with a standard front grill plus you can tell most of the time when you lift the bonnet up and silver is a b***h to match ..
