new member - Sydney, Aus

Post by auspolo »

Greetings,

New member from the colonies :D

Have had the car (TSI DSG with optional sport, comfort and audio packs) since november 2010.

Just got some new wheels (TSW Nurburgring 18x8 +35, 225/35 tyres) and H&R lowered springs (25F/40R).

Cheers,

Jeremy

cheers lads

very happy with the springs - even with the 35 series rubber they are comparable to the factory lowered springs and 17' boavista/40 series rubber combo on all but the biggest bumps. got them from orange tuning at 1/3 of the aus retail price :D

handles better and the tyres dont rub either

Currently we have access to DNA Tuning and possibly Revo Technik, APR are working on tuning for the gti only.

Love the wheels didn't think 225 rubber would fit but glad it does 18 really fill the arches and the springs are perfect drop must say I am impressed

Your car looks amazing mate. The whole 'stealth' image of it looks incredible! As for the wheels... i'm drooling  Wouldn't suppose you've fitted the VW exhaust tip or is it an after market one?

i spent last week in the hunter valley and had the tyres rub a couple of times on the inner-guards, mostly when going through right-hand corners and hitting a bump mid-corner...nothing major though (rough counrty roads)

finally some decent pics...
