Is it a removalable face unit? Either way there should be 2 holes at the side of the face or behind where the faceplate fits. You should have got some small plastic lugs with the car when you bought it. these lugs simply pop into the hole and then you pull when you hear them click into place. If you...

Focal's are the nuts for SQL - you wont find a finer sounding set of components for the same cash.

If your willing to swap a bit of quality for a lot of thump the AudioBahn A525s are pretty stonking. Had two sets of these in my old polo and loved every second!

Or you could try one of the 1000s of fabricators and metal merchants in sheffield.

Just take your car down to the workshop and let them take the measurments.

they'll probably just charge you for the parts and about an hours labour

If it helps it was the pastel yellow colour on what looks like some 17" multi spoke alloys.

Looked v similar to the Polo RD pics i've seen.

This months Golf+ magazine

Just got this months Golf+ magazine and had a look at the VW Forum show report and there was something that I thought might be of interest... A VW Approved Polo 1.8T. Its on Page 89, top left. The caption says "1.8T-engined Polo is a genuine VW option" In the main story it says... ".....

I beileve FK do them in RHD, but not all styles and fitments.

Anyway its just a case of altering the beam of the headlights and (at the most) changing them come MOT time.

Does it replace the plastic front strip on the bumper? If so I'd say it was clipped and screwed into place.

If it goes over the standard bumper it will probably be bonded.

Either way it would be a good idea to use some screws and some bonding agent - just in case.

Spotting Chavs

The latest fashion amongst Chavettes seems to be as much pink Von Dutch as they can find, offset with the standard mock gold jewellery, ...
