I've paid £200 for the last 2 years on mine and had almost 15k in parts and labour well worth the money. Had a new engine block fitted November last year.

Hi I've recently just had a new engine fitted under warranty due to oil consumption on a 60plate GTI. Today I've fitted the forge induction kit which I had on before the engine was changed.
Im getting a much louder flutter noise from the turbo which I don't remember previously.

Bit more accurate just watched closely and the revs take a sudden climb at 2100-2200rpm causing a jolt.

I notice a slight jolt last week as I accelerate from around 20mph in 4th with the gearbox in manual it got worse and felt like the turbo was hesitating happens around 2500-3000rpm took it into the dealers and they replaced the turbo under warranty no hassle. What do you need to test for faults and where can you buy the VCDS cable from also is there anything else you need ? thanks

What equipment do you need to do these codes I like to have ago myself on my GTI is it difficult plus can you mess things up?

My car dropped off the dip stick in around 1500 miles when new now it is using hardly any oil at all. I top it up about every 3-4 months which I think is pretty good fro this engine took around 5000 miles to settle down

Done a few little colour changes now to do the performance
