Airbag Recall
Hi there,
I received a recall from VW for my Polo 6R due to a faulty Takata airbag. Since years ago I have already replaced my old steering wheel with an MFSW from a Polo 6C, I’m wondering what will happen when I take my car to a dealer for the recall.
Cheers
Francesco

Re: Franciswat's Polo 6R 1.6 Bifuel
Mhh...pads fit anyway without them but i think it's better with.
5K0 698 231 is different clip. The right one should be 1J0615231.
Thanks man.
Edit
1J0615231 is NOT the right part. I had to cut it it order to fit the pads.
Any help will be appreciated.

Re: Franciswat's Polo 6R 1.6 Bifuel
 Thank you guys!
Today I've replaced the rear disks and find out one clip is missing but can't find the code on etka and the clip is not included even with new pads.
Can you help me solving the mistery? Thanks!

Replacing old gear shift gaiter made of eco-leather with new gaiter of genuine leather.

 Tip #1 : solder wires instead of using that devil's instrument which is alligator clip (Patil docet ).
Maybe you used a crocodile instead of an alligator... 😂

There's a proper tool to easily cut PDC holes without damaging even the paint. Let me know if you need more details.

After working on EEPROM I feel to share few tips about the job.
But first of all thanks to Benzinkopf and Patil for supporting me on this BIG challenge ( BIG at least for me :P ).

Re: Heated Seats Retrofit Issue
Thank you Michael I'll check wiring diagrams once more. :wink
EDIT: Just checked wiring diagrams. You were right: this LIN is connected to anti theft sensor and rain/light sensor.
That explain why wire is missing.

Re: Heated Seats Retrofit Issue
Thanks Michael for that explanation.
According to this my wirings are correct.
Would you expect to already find a wire on pin 15 according to diagram above? Or I shouldn't care about.
