hey everyone you've probably herd of this loads of times but my polos got an extreme idle problem

seems like the car is overfuellin because it idles really badly and when you put your foot of the throttle it seems to choke itself.

Also when you are idling and you light the exhaust up at the back ...

i got 18.6 in my 1.4 8v which i got told was good but now the engines knackered.

idling crap n its over furlin really bad, that bad that if you light the exhaust with a flame u can cook marsh mellows

Good for bonfire night tho

nice hope so.. i went down the strip this weekend at got a poo time got 18.9 secs at 69.6 so i need some drastic work for a come back next year

anybody know any websites offering turbos kits for the 6n????

Toying with the idea of a conversion but want a turbo rather than an supercharger...

Any help guys would be appreciated..

your supposed really to get rid of the back seats and bolt them to the floor securly you need somethin like a half meter distance from the seat for safety or you can bolt the to the roll cage but i would prefer them to the floor bit more secure

On some models there is a rubber boot if the recall has not been done. The boot should be removed because it squeeks against the bulkhead

the cooling system on the mk4 is the best in the line. I noticed it only comes on when you rag the *&%& outta ya motor and it creeps over 90. Also when ur water level drops below max it heats ups faster. Also sometimes only comes on when you stop your car. You wont notice it in traffic if its on ...

you checked all of your fuses because there are seperate fuses for the 6n dash. also check your plug connections on the back of your dash. If its not a wiring fault it could be an engine control unit problem mate sorry..Problems on your lcd where your milage is can indicate ecu

i have a k,n,N they all have one huge problem. They dont clean all the dirt out of the air. They are made of a pourous mesh thats supposed to get rid of all of it before it enters the core.
