Overfuelling

hey everyone you've probably herd of this loads of times but my polos got an extreme idle problem

seems like the car is overfuellin because it idles really badly and when you put your foot of the throttle it seems to choke itself.

Also when you are idling and you light the exhaust up at the back with a lighter say you have a blue flame always burning constantly so ie the fuel isnt being burnt

any help asap would be appreciated as mot is due
