I've just sent him an email, he's a nice guy and I don't think VW in Finland are unscrupulous like they're known to be in the UK. Let's see what he says.chris.tayler wrote: Mon Jun 24, 2019 5:59 pm Yes go to dealer. Prepare to prove it was there at delivery.

Scratch (minor) on the piano black dashboard...
Looks like someone had a bit of a go fitting it on and it's gotten marked somehow. You can't see it unless you look for it but I've noticed it and now can't stop looking. It's about 2cm long
Would you get in touch with the dealer about it? It's only done 400km so it's brand spankers.

Re: Polo AW Photo Gallery
Really don't know why I was on the fence over this colour, it's absolutely the best choice (in my opinion) on the Polo GTI. Only the plain white with black roof gets close to it, it just came back from the detailers getting a ceramic coat that will hopefully last a few years.

Difference between 18 and 19 build quality...
After agreeing to trade my GTD Estate for a Polo GTI I had the car for a couple of days (only given previously a quick test drive). Anyway I was gutted because it was rattling from all sorts of corners, handbrake, dashboard, doors you name it and it was rattling. This was the demo model with 10 ...

Re: Bluetooth phone echo
Funnily enough I used the BT today for the first time and the mrs complained about it echoing and put the phone down. I accepted this as a bonus, but I've only had one call in it and it was echoing.

Re: Servicing costs
This isn't going to make you feel any better but I took the 5 year guarantee option with the service plan. All services (hopefully repairs) are covered for a fee of €25 a month. I've been stung earlier with garages offering cheap services then charging €50 for 5ltr of glasswash, and €20 for a ltr of ...

Re: New GTI + delivery
Picking mine up today, a bittersweet moment because I really love my Variant GTD but simply can't use that anymore now that my driving has been slashed (from 30,000 to 10,000 a year)
So I trade in the GTD with 60,000 on the clock and get a new Polo GTI and pay less back per month, less in tax and ...

Sadly my parking space is under a tree
Meaning that if it's not leaves falling in Autumn, then it's summertime things falling on it. Bird s**t and sap and the paint on my GTD would be ruined had I not taped it. New polo won't get that luxury so I'm thinking about a cover. Any recommendations?
Thank you!
Thank you!

Rimblades with Brescia 18" - options / pictures?
Looking to add these onto my wheels before the inevitable happens. There's a few different types though and colours. What type are you good people rocking?
Love to see before I decide, my GTI will be a Reef Blue so I'm thinking about the black rimblades pro.

Thanks guys, I think I'll just go for the invisible film, I already got the dealer to throw in a boot liner and a full tank.
Cheers all!
