After only 18k miles it looks like although its an alloy body the seals are still as rubbish.
Yes i agree that looks like the latest part number for thus pump.
Looks like i need to call VW as no new ones are showing as in stock online and any aftermarket ones are coming from the eu aswell.

With help off here a leaking water pump was diagnosed.
All sites i have looked on using my reg gave me part number 04E121600CB.
So i ordered one complete with housing , lifted bonnet an it is totaly different!

Any recomendations fof a new pump, is see some come with plastic housing, some without housing but with new belt.

Coolant leak.
1 litre non turbo engine with a coolant leak.
Evidence of water at bottom of the plastic cover circled in pic,top rest of engine, passenger side.
Is this a common place for a leak and what is it remedy, new gasket or component?

64 plate 1.0 bluemotion polo showing the above failt code,o2 sensor after the cat has a fault on it.
