yes i would, but i think the cost of swapping all the suspension over and the cost of the coilovers would be more than buying a new set.

i do have some 50mm eibach lowering springs if ur interested tho??

this is a stunning little car as you all know and has been my pride and joy and i will be sad to see it go..........i am selling my gti due to the insurance in march costing me about £1300!! and as a university student i cant afford that, i need something cheaper to run

so youve had 2 new ones?? or the noise just went?? how much are u lowered? the noises sound the same as wot mine is making.

hey mate, i know what that is!mine did that loads b4 i raises it a bit, i think its the steering arms hitting the inner body, they didnt make a noise until they wore away the rubber protection stuff and then started hitting the metal!!, easyiest way is to lift ur car a bit, a few mm will make loadsa ...

i'm not sure mate, i dnt think so but it could be?? its only lowered about 50mm/60mm, so is that enough to cause that??

has any1 had a problem with their driveshaft when they lowered their car?

mine is lowered about 60mm and the drivers side driveshaft is makin a weird grinding noise, or something is? ive just had a new shaft fitted but its still doin it?? can any1 help me??

couldnt recomend them enough

i was 19 with 2 years no claims and 2 years driving, my insurance with mom as named driver £1200

in 2 months.......im 20 now, so 3 years no claims,3 years driving, 5 points sp30!! , but still £1300

worth it as you say!
