Re: Adding buttons to steering wheel.

Oh well. Would've been nice. I think I'll manage with just the leather steering wheel.

Adding buttons to steering wheel.

I was wondering if one can take out the side caps and replace them with the button on this type of steering wheel.

I think it was some automated system that was supposed to blur the number plate... Some photos have other random parts blurred

Re: Polo 6R/6C Photo Gallery

Recently ordered a car history report for fun and got around 20 photos from 10 years ago when the car was brand new. This is a before and after comparison. Feels weird when I think about the fact that I was going into 5th grade when this car was first sold and now I own it  . Time flies. 10 yea...

Re: New car - Retro fit questions- part numbers?

The standard display only shows outside temperature and the range when the fuel light comes on. With mfd enabled you can see a lot more stuff like have a big digital speedo(this must be activated separately), instant/average fuel consumption etc.

Re: Manually adjust the headlights?

Took the headlights out, changed the bulbs to a set of Osram Nigh Breakers and adjusted to roughly to the correct level. Had to use a bit of WD40 to lube the gears. Patience was key since I'm pretty sure they were completely filled with dirt since I could feel it grinding while turning the screw. To...

Re: Manually adjust the headlights?

I set the headlights in the lowest position (number 3 on the dial) and still the screw wouldn't turn. I think I have to take out the headlights and lube the gears. It's weird they won't turn with that screw but turn just fine when using the dial inside the cabin...

I also found mine really stiff.
Do they have to be in the lowest position before turning that screw?

Manually adjust the headlights?

I need to adjust my headlights. I have to keep them on the lowest position and I'm still flashbang-ing people in front of me. I tried spinning the white plastic screw but seems to be stuck...
Do I have to do something with VCDS to be able to turn it or could it be broken?

The next and last update for the exterior will be for the front bumper. Either a 6R/C GTI with fog lights retrofitted or leave it standard and just retrofit the fog lights.

I meant changing from single to dual mass flywheel or the reverse. What are the benefits from doing this?

Re: Luk or sachs clutch 6R 2013

Why would one consider a dual mass flywheel after a certain mileage?
