Re: 2012 16" Golf wheels on 2012 6R Polo
Is 5*100 the nut spacing?
It means the 5 nuts are spaced around a circle 100mm in diameter.
...is there no other Measurements like offset etc?
Yes. They'll typically be quoted as something like ET46 - as per the other thread. The offset will alter as the rim width (eg 6J, 7.5J) changes ...

Re: 6R Cruise Control Retrofit Problems
I was having problems working out which terminals, stalks, etc to use and whether I had the wiring correct. I could create a thread for every little question, but that would fragment things more so it seemed appropriate to add them somewhere that things were already being asked so people could ...

Will do. Any idea why my other posts disappeared? It's left some strange looking answers from you and others to questions that are no longer there!

Re: 6R Cruise Control Retrofit Problems
I was going to write a summary of how things went, but can see other posts I made in the thread have disappeared. Should I not put it here?

Re: Airbag Removal
Tips here boosted my confidence that it would come out eventually! I found that a strong but slim table knife (ie not very sharp edge or point) worked for pushing the clip out of the way and then going into the little gap created while pulling it off.

Re: 6R Cruise Control Retrofit Problems
Bingo! Thanks - not sure I would have found that. Remarkably exciting when the little green CC indicator turned on
[EDIT: Just removed a YouTube link that I'm not sure I placed there]

The largest standard size is described in your previous thread: viewtopic.php?t=77704john2k wrote: Thu Sep 08, 2022 7:20 pm What's the max wheel size the 2012 polo can take without issues?

Re: In great need of help
It may sound silly but it is easier to start with things that don't need dismantling, etc. Can you park somewhere else and see if the fault triggers after the same amount of driving, or when you make similar turns somewhere else? If it is the turns rather than the time then I'd take a look at wiring ...

Re: Can someone shed light on my situation
Are you sure the spark plugs went in cleanly and tight? Hard to tell from the description but could it be compression loss at higher output? Maybe take plugs out and check for soot marks outside threads.

They aren't very big inside. It'd be quite a lot of time and cost for not a lot of benefit.

Re: RNS510 instead of RNS315
We have an RNS510 in one of our cars. The sat nav directions generally and ability to respond to traffic issues are pretty poor IMHO, so don't get it for that - although it is a useful backup if the phone runs out of charge or you have no data.

The largest standard for that is 215/40R17 87T on a 7Jx17 rim with ET46.
