Gearboxes/drive shafts
Hi guys,
I’ve f****d up my near side drive shaft and need to replace it, I’ve found a drive shaft from a 2007 Polo 9n3 1.2, would this fit my 2007 9n3 1.4? I know this question sounds a bit dumb but I don’t feel like buying a new gearbox
Thanks

Installing chrome rings onto the speedometer
I’ve realised there’s literally no information about this out there so I thought I’d help anyone who's thinking of installing these onto your polo
I bought these exact ones off amazon for £8;

Re: Changing steering wheels
Incase anyone is interested the steering wheel change is super easy and makes the inside look so much better, as long as you disconnect the battery you should have no problems

Re: Starting problem - Polo 9N3
Could it possibly be a failing fuel pump? If its struggling to pressurise your fuel lines that would definitely be a cause as to why its hard to start the engine up
though I’m not fully sure if that would be related to your gauge issue

Re: Changing steering wheels
the connector is the same
you might get an error light for the airbag, the airbag module is known as module 15, that's the digital address of the airbag module
right, cheers
I don’t have a vag com cable, would a simple “clear fault codes” on my obd scanner get rid of the light in case it pops ...

Re: Changing steering wheels
Both 9N3 wheels, should fit.
Just needs a reset of adres 15 probably after fitting.
bear with me sorry,
so I’m assuming the one locking mechanism on the older wheel will work fine without using the other
but what about the extra cable on the older wheel, is leaving it loose not going to give ...

Re: Cross Polo 1.4 Rough Idle When Warm
I have the exact same polo with the exact same problem, I've changed spark plugs and going to check my ignition coils soon but so far no luck
I've heard many say the polo just runs rough by nature but I still don’t like the rough idle, I've read somewhere it could possibly be a badly seated pcv ...
