Re: AFH Engine
Its alive again. Cost £250 to do it though
Fitted a full set of valves, New Gates cam belt kit and a Payen head set. It was quite an easy job to do too. It seems to run much better that it did before the idler died. I dod have a small problem though, I will start a new topic though

AFH Engine
My polo is bust, The cam belt idler pulley has died. Looks like it has melted due to it seizing up. I ve not removed the head but there are at least 8 bent valves. I cant find a head anywhere either. Im gonna have to strip the head and rebuild it, Not unless I burn the bloody thing

Yay, Its finally on the road. Just need to adjust the headlights. Took it out tonight, It seems reasonable nippy. Im not sure if the engine is goosed though, I gave it a good thrashing, There was quite a bit of smoke, Might be because it has been stood for a couple of months though, I hope it isnt ...

15" or 16" wheels with tyres
Im after a set on 15 or 16 inch alloy wheels tyres for a 6n. It currently has 14" alloys fitted but the tyres are screwed and Im not too keen on the wheels anyway. There is a set of 16" wheels on a car in the breakers across the road but they are all curbed quite badly, He wants £150 for them. In ...
