On my journey back from bournemouth Yesterday i noticed a rattling coming from the rear, removed the cap to reveal this...

I had the same sort of problem with my 9n Polo... found out it was the rear bushes which had gone which was giving this problem?

Hey Dude,

Open up your drivers door, and check the loom (in the rubber casing where the door is hinged) i had the exact same problem and a couple of the wires had cut... i rewired them together and wrapped them in electrical tape... job done!

after a phonecall and a fax later... i've got hold of the part i needed... £15 from VW per side may i add! Going to pick it up tomorrow! its number 17 on the exploded diagram of the 6n2 GTI Headlight on ETKA.

Fitted some Polo GTI headlights last night to my car, ran into an issue though the drivers side doesnt have the plastic "clip" that the stick slides though to hold the indicator in! (i know thats an awful description but hope u can decode it! lol)

wondering whether i can get hold of one ...

dub6n2 - Correct, push the seat all the way to the front and unclip the covers that cover the rails on either side of the seats these usually just pull off... then just push the seat back undo the hex nut and doneski! and then do what alex said, may need two of you one to slide the seat back and the ...
