Hi all! New to this forum!
I recently developped a tracking problem with my 6n2 (LHD).
The car seems to veer to the right when I release the steering wheel, thus requiring constant steering input to the left to keep it going straight.
Took it to my local garage to get it tracked. Mechanic told me afterwards he had to adjust the tracking all the way to the stops, and even then there was stil some deviation left.. To my knowledge this problem happened overnight and I cant remember hitting a kerbside or anything!
Any idea what causes this? And should I accept this 'fix' with some deviation left, or is there any way to get a proper fix??
Any help would be very appreciated!
Thanks

Re: 6N2 tracking issue
I had the same sort of problem with my 9n Polo... found out it was the rear bushes which had gone which was giving this problem?
Re: 6N2 tracking issue
Hi
Funny this came up as a issue I having same prob on my 6n. Car pulls to right. And I have to use effort to keep it in a straight line. It also veers to right. And at speed the steering feels very wishy woshy. Loose. Not right
I still have not found prob had tracking done.
And my garage can't find out wrong
