I forgot to say you can get them on VAGparts.com They only come in the chrome finish but a lot of people spray the backing on them when they go on the mkivs

when yopuve got the engine cover off look for a place where a few coolany pipes congregate. (usually either on the front or somewhere above the clutch). When you find this look for a pipe with a wire going into it. this is the sensor. Replacement ones are available at www.Vagparts.com. To replace it...

Rear badge

Hey all. Just wandered if anyone had tried the sharran badge on the 6N2 yet, i realised that the recess is the same as on a MK4 gold when i did mine, Its a little smaller than the Golf one and as far as i can see its the same size on the polo. http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c171/polo2k/badges.jpg...

i cant see there being a massive amount more weight in the 1.8T as they ar both all ally although the 1.8 has all the externals of the forced induction. the 1.4GT sounds fun but its a massivley complex and unexplored engine. could be very pricy though! does anyone have any links to any sites documen...

hmmm ill have to check power.
ill have to see how bored i get lol the car could have alternative ignition systems as the chip/barrel/immobiliser are in the key codeing which can be toyed with if needs be ;)
