Ye, it was a bit of a rare find when I got it. Also comes with lights above the sun visors that come on when you pull back the mirror cover. Not sure if that was an optional addon or not, but think it was probably a lady that specced up the car
Yup, full service history. Did some research a ...

Re: Price for selling Polo
That was the sorta price I was thinking. Nothing fitted by me no. Factory-wise, it's got a sunroof and CD player, as well as all the SE goodies.
Considering I've just put a year's tax on it and will be getting it serviced, I'm thinking maybe £3100-3200?

Price for selling Polo
Looks like the time has come to sell my trusty 9n
Have had a look on Autotrader, but prices seem to be all over the place. Would anyone be able to tell me the sort of price I should be asking for a very good condition 03 plate Polo 1.2 SE with roughly 77,000 on the clock?
Cheers!

Re: Rear washer hose fixing tip
I think it's fair to say some of the temperatures this winter have taken us all a bit by surprise. I've got a winter concentration of additive in the washer at the moment and have done since November, but this obviously wasn't enough to give protection down to -10C and below. I guess it just makes ...

Rear washer hose fixing tip
My rear washer stopped working over the recent cold snap, and to my frustration, I found the hose had popped off right at the pump (just behind the bumper) making it impossible to get to. Everything I'd read suggested that the front bumper needed taking off, which would be a PITA.

Horrible noise coming from wheel arch...help!
This car is causing me no end of problems at the moment!
I was pulling out of a parking space in my local shopping centre today, and as I turned the wheels right to pull out into the car park I suddenly hear a load, alarming 'dongggg' from somewhere in the right wheel arch. As I straighten the ...

When you guys mention the Gendan tool, did you buy the 'Gendan GCR05 EOBD/OBDII Fault Code Reader'
- £39.95 or the 'Gendan VW Audi Seat Skoda Code Reader' - £39.10?

Re: Coil packs playing up again in the cold
Took the car back to the garage where I originally had the work done today. The guy there seemed to think there was no point doing a diagnostic as, since the misfire wasn't still happening, it wouldn't read anything. He said the fault codes weren't stored. Don't know how much truth there is in that ...

Coil packs playing up again in the cold
Last year while driving my Polo 1.2SE in the snow, I was left a bit stranded when one of my coil packs died, leaving me with effectively 2 cylinders. Prior to the failure, out of the 3 coil packs, 1 of them had been replaced recently, with two older ones fitted from before I bought the car (it was ...
