Rear brakes are really really crappy on a Polo 9N. If you have discs you can see that the surface is almost totally covered with a little corrosion.

The pads get nearly no pressure to press on the discs.

If you would test the car on braketest-plates you would notice the lack of brakingpower of the ...

@Dino,

you should try Goodyear F1 GSD3. Lovely grip and easy on the edge.

Oversteer in a 9N ? I wish I had some. It has so much grip in the back. Even in rain. I have understeer in all cases. The only way to slide the tail in my car is by backing off in a corner with some sand on the tarmac ...

Ebay

I bought my -50 mm Eibach Sportsline springs for 99 euro. New !

But that's because I don't need to change my dampers (VW sportdampers installed).

14 inch stock wheels are ET35

My S3-wheels are ET32. So they are mounted 3 mm wider than the stock wheels.

ET65 ? Is that ok ? That's 30 mm more than stock !

Do you use spacers ?

Wheel alinement

Hey guys,

my Polo (and I think everyones) never really went in a proper straight line while driving.
When I mounted the 17 inch rims the problem became more serious.
The car just never stayed in a straight line. And the rare thing is that sometimes the car stays pulling to the right and another ...

Ceedubya that's YOUR next project! Should be easy after your 1.8T!

Just realised that would be a whopping 130bhp from a 2.4!

2.4 V6 has 170 bhp.

The problem is the 3-pot.

There are very little tuning-parts for your engine.

And maybe you shouldn't because the engine can be fragile.

I would save the money and keep it for a Polo (or another car) with a bigger engine.

A good friend of mine put a 4-pot throttle-body , a camshaft and ...

Hmm, I would like to see that to.

I've lowered my car by 50 mm (Eibach) and do not have that problem.

How much did the FK lower your car ?
