what wheels to put on the 9n

Post by mk5_the_best »

right know my sisters got a 9n and she wants to put some alloys on it shes looking to lower the car as low as possible but without arch modification shes looking to get wheels 17inch or bigger so what do you recommend

ive told her to et audii tt competition alloys like on ceedub's car

or get the new golf mk5 alloys then 17inchs

what are your suggestions people

btw shes going to trade her polo for the latest one once she gets a new job so have to bear that in mind rims that suit both

No ideas what to recommend, it all comes down to personal taste.

However Golf Mk5 wheels will only fit with adapters. 9n's stud fitment is 5x100 mk5 Golf is 5x112 :)

go for 18's, i have 17" multi spoke and think they look abit too small, i have only had them three months and am wanting to go for bigger wheels maybe even 19" for that something different.

Has anyone seen that wheel machine website?

http://www.wheel-machine.de/

it shows a few wheels for the 9n, handy for getting an idea how different wheels would look :D

I have 16" Barcelona's on my 9n, recently saw a 17" set on german ebay, thought they may look nice, very subtle! OEM+ style.

I really like the OZ Superturismo GT wheels. Probably get myself a set sometime next year
Personally I wouldn't go bigger than 16" with a nice drop.
