Window Rubbers Not Sealing
So i traced my leak down to the rubbers not having a tight grip on the window. Has anyone else encountered this problem before and what was your solution?

Rear Window Replacement
Hi guys, Bit of a grey area for me but my sisters rear window was smashed by the storm yesterday, and I'm not sure if it's an insurance jobby or whether they are easy enough to replace myself.
Cheers and Merry Christmas

Alex what size tyres do you run on the 16? I'm debating going for 195/45/16s next as they are quite a bit cheaper

As alex said, if it's been sitting a while its common for the exhaust to condensate on start up. Out of interest have you got a link for the car you are looking at?

Re: Joe's Gti Progress Thread- 5th gear swap complete
Car was stood for a few weeks and a pond was found in the passenger footwell behind the drivers seat! I've drained the water out but a lingering smell remains. Has anyone had a similar leak before? I have no idea where the leak came from and it hasn't leaked since. I'm not sure how to get rid of the...

No you would need to modify/ install a new loom behind the dash. It really isn't worth it to be honest just stick with the manual.

Re: Intermittent electrical issues
hmmmm, these issues are always tricky to diagnose. Do you have vagcom access? that would be a good place to start. Have you noticed evidence of water in and around the engine bay ?
