Post by polo2k »

ok some of you may have seen my post asking about what i am planning to do with the install in my car but once that is all done and running i will be changing the head unit as what i have now will be a little lacking
i ont have too many requirements but here they are
3 rca out puts (front, rear, sub)
1 rca input
preferably blue illimination
and easy to operate (cos im daft )
this wont be happening for a while as i have all the body work to do before we see any work on the install but id like to check out my options

Alpine is still the choice of SQL winners AFAIK. So you can't really go wrong with them.

About the easy operation issue: I have a Clarion and I can't figure out how to stop the main knob from flashing at me in six colors. I know it can be done, but after pressing every button and trying a secret handshake it still won't let me change the options.

Yesterday I tried to get my (borrowed) camera to switch from 'Portrait' to 'Auto' and it took me five minutes and a friend to figure out I had to twist a rotary knob on the very top of the camera.

I sir, am thick too. Damn those modern things.
