Folks ,
My missus recently bought a 2000 5 Door Polo. the car didn't have a owners manual with it. I've been trying to find one online for a few weeks now ithout any joy. Does anyone here have a link to an on-line version of the manual ? She's noticed an "EPC" light came on yesterday for awhile and has gone off again.
thanks ,
Dave

Guess your only option would be going thru ebay auctions, there is no online version of the manual
Perhaps also contact a local dealer and see if they can source you a copy?
The EPC light staying on indicates a problem with the engine management system, if its gone off, all should be okay, but perhaps should be given the once over by a VW dealer to identify the fault or fault reading by somewith with VAG-COM
hope helps

Thats what the problem was with mine. Took it too VW and they charged me just over £40. The new switch was about £5 and they charged me £30 for labour and rest was VAT.mikegti wrote:normally to do with a problem with the brake light switch (under the pedal).
Take it to the dealers or VAG specialist to check it over with VAG-Com
