Is this K&N filter worth getting, or will I not notice any change???

Personally i wouldnt change mine again... just makes it sound a tad meaty but i dont like the chav sound it makes when u floor it, can make your car loud as f**k when doing 10mhp, which is f*****g stupid tbh and makes me think it aint been engineered very well...

hmm sounds like something I would not like too in that case, id rather just aid a bit of performance without a louder and more noiser car, chavvy loud at 10mph is just silly

What to do... what to do, maybe get it, try it and go from there... could always re-sell, maybe :?

If you floor your car in any gear it makes the same noise, even if your in 5th doing 5mph, its rather annoying, if you floor it gradually it sounds nice tho..

Btw, my induction kit will be for sale soon, my car is sold i think. Its only done 30miles, still got box and stuff if you want it.

Sorry if thick, but this is just a filter for the airbox, not an induction kit, are you saying it makes the same sort of noise as an induction kit, becuase that is something i dont want

your quite right Doug, the mk5 1.0 has two, one on each side of the engine cover, and as for noise you won't hear much difference with a panel filter, thats if you want abit of noise...

good, im not after noise, just a new filter, as i think original one is a bit manky and this might help performance a little bit too

on my 1.4 16v, its one whole piece as pictured in the airbox, under engine cover

pollen filter in top right

Mine is an induction kit, you can use it for both sides and only requires 1. If you want it let me know!
