I've spoken to Rikki a few times, Not enough to have his number and call him though.

We could email them.

Right. since im talkin first steps and all that, i'd be maswell pushing on and trying my hardest to make this meet work...

Right first things first ....

LOCATION

Cook Street / Cente Street Car Park... Its an open car park, that is empty at night. It's a hot spot for one of cruise's up here. I've been to a few at this location and i think it's very well postioed. Its out the way of everyone and we will not cause hassle to residents. This is a quick map to show where it is

Image

TIME

Ok - Its summer - So lighting is not a problem - There is allot of lighting here neways...so a time lets say.... 19.30 hours... sounds reasonable....

WHO

Ok - We need "cruisers" to come to the cruise to at least make it an enjoyable nite... so we welcome AS MANY VAG Owners as possible ... and we can welcome along other car owner’s looking for a nite of enjoyment..

ORGANISATION

There's not much more now a date and time has been set - its more a case of post up the cruise date and time on the forums/site's you visit... im sure a month of people posting about it on the forums its bound to have an impact.... ill try make up a quick flyer on monday/tuesday which can be posted around various sites...

F&M we can ask them to cover if we get enough gauging interest...

DATE: Saturday 30th July @ 19.30pm
LOCATION: Cook Street/Centre Street Car Park.
WHO: VAG Owners and other's are welcome

I'll get some flyer made up - and it’s a case of advertising the time and making the cruise a success...

If anyone disagrees with what ive said / wants to add onto that - reply...

Would it not be better to have the meeting a bit more centralised since it's a Scottish meet instead of everyone tryin to get into the centre of Glasgow, not the easiest thing to do at the best of times!!! We have people on here from all over Scotland and if we want the most amount of people to come, you've gotta make it as easy as possible for everyone!! Just my opinion!! :P

If there is somewere in Stirling we could go that would be ok.

Or the Falkirk Wheel car park is always a good location.

There's good sites at both with plenty space... The wheel in Falkirk is very good and Springkerse industrial estate is good in Stirling and both are easy to get to!!

Glasgow meet.......

Post by veedub-ally »

Guys

I can make the meet on 2 July if it is evening... although I don't know what state my car would be in!

Why not have a mini Glasgow meet and also a Scottish meet???

Sounds good to me!
